Sad eBay News

Today eBay announced that it will be shutting down our office in Vancouver. It's really kind of sad but apparently this move is to consolidate everything. It doesn't appear that Salt Lake City will be affected, in fact we'll be growing our support center because of the loss of 700 agents up in Vancouver. This is all kind of weird...I read about the news on Facebook...I'm kind of out of the loop right now because I'm on sabbatical and away from the office but I confirmed it on eTrade where I can read eBay news that affects the stock price. This is interesting and sad. Guess I'll find out more about how it affects me when I go back to work in a few weeks - actually 20 days to be exact :( Sad.
