I forgot to post pictures of this earlier, actually I just didn't have time until right now :) I made this for Ramin for Valentine's Day. It started out as a plain cardboard cutout thing. I added all of the paper and doodads on there to make it cute! It's totally my kind of style and I made it Ramin's style too by adding in the orange and green colors :) I think I'm gonna make little books like this a lot now because they are really fun to do!!
Ramin surprised me with some flowers today, even though he's off in Indianapolis for work. They are a half dozen bouquet of red roses. Very pretty and they smell really good! I've made something very special for Ramin but I won't post it pictures of it yet until after he gets home Monday night :)
Yesterday I received my official acceptance letter to grad school at the U! The silly lady that mailed them out mixed mine up with some other dude and so I got his letter and he got mine, but they say the same thing and are for the same program.
I can't believe how easy that whole process was. The letter says I was accepted out of many applicants - I'm not sure I quite believe that. All I had to do was the necessary paperwork - letters of recommendation, GRE test, personal statement, a few applications. It's weird cause it was so easy for me.
The only thing I have to do is send my official acceptance back to the U telling them when I want to start. I plan to start in the Fall after a MUCH needed summer off! My first school-less summer in 3 years!
I found this site a while ago when I was searching for Anne Boleyn stuff. It has a TON of great items and I love the way she creates the images. I really want one of the monocle necklaces but I can't decide which one I like most...I like the Marie Antoinette, Anne Boleyn and a few of the Alice in Wonderland ones. I'll rest on it a while...perhaps I'll get something cheaper at first to see how I like it. Anyway, it's a cool site :)
